Guns N’ Roses Play Out First Rock Concert at Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium

The Raiders always know how to make a mark. After the purchase of the franchise by legendary owner Al Davis, the black and white established itself as a brand in the NFL. Now settled in sin city, the Las Vegas Raiders are looking to enter a new era of success under the casino lights.

After Al Davis’ passing away, his son Mark Davis took over as owner of the franchise. Under him, the team relocated from Oakland to Las Vegas at the start of the 2020 NFL season.

While the Las Vegas Raiders are yet to make an impact in the NFL, they surely are making waves in world of music.

Allegiant Stadium host to Las Vegas Raiders & Guns N’ Roses

With the 2021 NFL season just days away, the Las Vegas Raiders will once again return to the Allegiant Stadium to play their home games. But before that, the stadium has been playing host to a jam-packed rock concert.

Rock legends Guns N’ Roses performed live at the Allegiant Stadium. It was the first ever rock concert played at the establishment. Axl Rose and Slash performed together infront of a packed crowd.

The Raiders too were kind enough to welcome the band as hosts. In a picture tweeted by Axl Rose, it was seen that the Raiders had arranged a separate space in the lockeroom for the band with their jerseys hanging.

But now with the concert done with, the blinding lights once again fall on the Raiders. With some questionable roster moves yet again, including shipping out pretty much the entire O-line, the Raiders front office and coaching staff will be under pressure.
