The Broncos finished their season with a terrible record. They ended with a 5-12 record and have faced criticism from fans and analysts alike, and at the center of this has been their QB1, Russell Wilson. His skills as a quarterback have been questioned and his name has been dragged through the mud. However, it seems like there might be a chance of redemption for the QB.
The league’s coaching circuit has been buzzing with rumors about the ex-Saints coach, Sean Payton. However, it has been speculated that one of the doors the coach knocked on was the Broncos. There were some revelations made on the Herd with Colin Cowherd podcast that went viral on Twitter. The clip from the podcast linked the coach and the quarterback.

Can Payton ‘fix’ Russell Wilson?
A clip from Cowherd’s podcast recently went viral on Twitter. The podcast spoke about the potential positive impact Payton can have on the Broncos quarterback. The podcast speaks about the alleged rumors of Payton heading to the Broncos.
However, as soon as the tweet went viral, fans started pouring in with their quips and comments. One fan commented that Payton might be going elsewhere.

There were fans who thought Payton might be overrated.

It seems like fans have agreed on one sentiment: Wilson needs to improve. Admittedly, even the Broncos QB has come close to admitting that there is a problem with the way his team is playing.
Acceptance and moving toward a solution
While addressing several problems with the Broncos this season, Wilson spoke about what had been going wrong. He also spoke about different factors that have caused such a messy season in the first place.

While Wilson has openly admitted to things going wrong for the Broncos during this season, Payton might be helpful in flipping it. It only remains to be seen where the coach ends up and how well the Broncos can perform next season.
