The Green Bay Packers started their 2020 campaign with an emphatic win over Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. After a shaky start to their away game, the Packers slowly grew into the game. Major credit for that falls on the performance of veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The 36-year-old turned back the clock with a stunning display against the Vikings. Rodgers threw for 364 yards and completed four passing TDs. Wide receivers Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Allen Lazard all had good individual games as well.
Here’s what the two-time NFL MVP said about his team’s display following the opening day victory away from home.

“I’m really proud of Allan. I’ve been a fan of his since last training camp and he hasn’t disappointed at all. He has a different mindset about him that I really respect, I think he did a lot of mental training this offseason.
Not that he needed a whole lot, he’s a confident guy…he was one of those guys in training camp that was consistent…he’s a guy I trust. I’m feeling good about the tempo that we had, feeling good about the rhythm and the balance that I had in the pocket as well,” Rodgers said in the post-match press meet via Zoom call.
