Cam Newton has enjoyed a fine start to his career in Boston with Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots. Critics were unsure if Newton was the right fit under the strict Belichick and his pinpoint offense. After three games in 2020, Newton’s managed to silence his doubters and also gained a few more supporters. One of them is the NFL’s ‘half a billion-dollar man’ Patrick Mahomes.

The two quarterbacks will go up against each other at the Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri on Sunday. But here’s what Newton said about his superstar opponent at a recent press conference.

That’s what he’s doing. He’s playing the game at a high level,” Newton said via ESPN.
