“I Can Win MVP”: Amid Trade Rumors, Aaron Rodgers Massive Claim Shocks NFL Fans

There has been a lot of ambiguity with regard to where Aaron Rodgers is going to be headed. There have been speculations on his retirement as well as where he might be headed. Fans have made it clear that they feel that A-Rod can throw more TD passes and make more plays. However, after their failure to make playoffs, the Green Bay Packers QB seemed like he had one foot out of the NFL door into retirement. However, after Rodgers made a statement on the Pat McAfee show, there might be a change in the narrative here.

Rodgers has stated that he could potentially be in another MVP. However, the quarterback seemed infuriatingly vague about where he’ll be winning this. Furthermore, this vagueness has been a source of frustration for the fans.

Old Man Rodgers’ mere words anger NFL fans

A-Rod has always had opinions and words that bring out a livid frustration in the fans. Whether it’s Ayuahasca or silence about his retirement, Rodgers seems to have a knack for making fans go berserk. However, this time, it seems like fans are angry with the 3-time league MVP for something entirely different. The quarterback spoke about what more he can achieve in the upcoming season. Recently, Rodgers made his regular appearance on the Pat McAfee show.

He went on to speak about his abilities and said, “I think I can win MVP in the right situation.” Rodgers’ statement angered fans as there have been no more mentions of what exactly the ‘right situation’ might be. Furthermore, amidst trade rumors, a statement so ambiguous has rubbed off the wrong ways for the fans. One fan blatantly stated what Rodgers might actually need, “he need a super bowl not mvp.” Furthermore, there were fans who compared Rodgers with other QBs in the league, “You ain’t MVP if you need top WRs… Look what Mahomes did without Hill…”

There were also fans who mocked Rodgers’ words, “That’s a good joke.” Furthermore, fans also attempted to correct Rodgers’ perception of what is actually important. Perhaps, what frustrates the fans is that Rodgers had been indicating something completely different up until a few days ago. It had almost seeme like Old Man Rodgers was going to be stepping away from the game.

Will Aaron Rodgers stay in the league or leave?

Up until a few days ago, there had been a lot of speculation that was leaning towards Rodgers retiring. Even during his post-game interview, Rodgers had seemed like he was making a teary-eyed goodbye. However, his recent statement about being MVP seems to have flipped this perception of the fans.

While fans are frustrated between the Rodgers’ intial statement and the most recent one, his status is shrouded in ambiguity. Only time will tell where Rodgers will be heading for the next season.
