The Super Bowl is increasingly becoming more controversial in terms of its field turf. Everyone has an opinion about how the players played and some analysts did not take into consideration the slippery grass. One such analyst was Brian Baldinger. He tweeted and shared a video that spoke about the Chiefs’ offensive tackle and the way he tackled the Eagles‘ linebacker.

The linebacker was not happy with the tweet himself. He made it very clear in the comments section, and this sparked reactions from fans as well.

The NFL analyst went on to tweet a video of the Chiefs’ O-linesman, Wylie being tackled by Reddick. He commentated, making snide remarks about the way the linebacker slashed his arm. Baldinger went on to mock Reddick for the way he was playing, referring it to as a WWE move.

This seemed to sting Reddick, and he did not hold back when he fired back. He mentioned that his actions were completely accidental. The linebacker went on to assign blame to the slippery and unkempt field.

Furthermore, fans themselves went on to react to the verbal sparring between Reddick and Baldinger.

Reddick had some strong words to respond to Baldinger. He mentioned how other players were affected by the conditions of the turf as well.

However, Baldinger himself had a reply to Reddick.

Fans also had a lot to say about how Baldinger analyzed the scene.

Furthermore, fans spoke about the illegal calls that were missed.

Finally, a fan spoke about how embarrassing a field like this actually is.

Fans themselves were very disappointed with the quality of the field that was presented in Arizona. The players did truly have a hard time playing on the field. They ended up changing their cleats multiple times, hampering their focus during the crucial game.

The Eagles certainly got the short end of the stick when it came to the effect of the field on their match’s outcome. However, one can only hope that such bad luck regarding the field does not befall the other teams in the future.
