Soccer star Megan Rapinoe joins the Pod Save America host Jon Favreau for a wide-ranging discussion. The Women’s World Cup Champion discloses her initial days of facing public scrutiny after taking the knee for the first time in 2016. I don’t know if I was shocked by it because it did make sense. I think that sort of solidified even just the way that I approached social media or the media in general. I was like, oh, I understand the game now. It’s just like people are just going to be cynical about it. They’re not actually listening to anything that Colin says,” Rapinoe mentions.
