The 2-time Super Bowl champion has had no issues taking it slow right now and has been going easy. He, recently, appeared on ‘I Am Athlete’ show and spoke about his experiences throughout his years in the league. Furthermore, he also opened up about his expenditures every year.
Miller spoke about the amount of money he spends on himself every year to keep himself in playing condition. Furthermore, while the number might surprise the masses, it isn’t a big deal for Miller. In fact, he remains to be one of the lesser spending ones on his own health when compared to other players in the league. Interestingly, players like Russell Wilson spend double what Miller spends on his health and body.

While on the show, Miller went on to speak about various insights into his finances. He spoke about the kind of bets he would place as a youngster straight out of college. He reminisced and revealed that he had once spent about $16,000 in just one night of gambling and betting. However, as he matured, the way he handled his money also seemed to mature. He further spoke about the money he would spend on seemingly extravagant but necessary expenditures.

Miller spoke about the cost of being healthy enough to ensure peak athletic performance. He mentioned that he has an Accelerated Performance Recovery professional who works with him. He also listed that he has a private chef that caters to his nutritional needs. All in all, the linebacker spends about $500,000 on just his body in a year. However, he doesn’t seem too miffed about it. On the show, he mentioned his ideology for spending money.
The linebacker explained how it takes money to make money. On the show, he mentioned, “The bread is going to help me get more money so I don’t really think about it as me spending.” There were also mentions of how Miller’s spending is comparatively lesser as compared to players like Wilson. About a year ago, Russell Wilson also mentioned his expenditure on his body, and that had blown people’s minds.

The scale of spending between Miller and Wilson
While Miller somehow sticks to a 6-figure expenditure on his body in a year, the Broncos quarterback outdoes his self-care. On ‘Jimmy Fallon Show’, Wilson mentioned that he goes on to spend about a whopping million dollars on his body’s maintenance in a year. He further mentioned that he does this to maintain the lifestyle of an athlete and ensure that his body is prepared for a long-term career. The QB also mentioned that he aims to play on till the age of 45.

While Wilson spends a million dollars, Miller gets his work done for half of the amount. Furthermore, with his dedicated spending, it only remains to be a matter of time before Miller himself returns to the field and brings glory to the Bills.
