The four-time NFL MVP was in great distress with the Packers when he was convinced to stay for one more season. And it was pretty clear since the start of the season, that this just might be his last dance with the team. After the unfortunate Divisional Round loss against the San Francisco 49ers, rumors have been circulating of Rodgers considering other options to play. And his MVP acceptance speech might have just fed those rumors a little more.

Aaron Rodgers mentions the Green Bay front office in what seems like a goodbye speech

During his speech, the 38-year-old quarterback mentioned the Green Bay Packer’s front-office leaders Mark Murphy, Brian Gutekunst, Russ Ball to thank them for their friendship and support. It was ironic for the four-time MVP to bring them up in his speech since they were once in disagreement over one another last offseason.

Rodgers was honest about his intentions to leave the Packers ahead of the 2021 season. Yet, the Green Bay front office somehow convinced the quarterback to stay. Though it’s uncertain whether that will happen for the 2022 season or not, Rodgers might have just teased the fans with a hint.
