On Monday night, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs made a tremendous comeback in the second half to win the game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Many thought the Chiefs would suffer a lot this season with wide receiver Tyreek Hill leaving them in the off-season. However, Mahomes stepped up big time, as Kansas is on a roll this season.

Meanwhile, before the game against the Raiders, Mahomes talked to Matt Hasselbeck of ESPN about Hill leaving under controversial circumstances.

Patrick Mahomes opened up about the change in his game after Tyreek Hill left the Chiefs

Talking about his perspective regarding Hill leaving, Mahomes said, “Obviously, it made me step up as a quarterback. It’s made me get through my progression faster. I’m the right guy. We’ve added a lot of great playmakers that can do a lot of different things.“

“We have speed, we got size, we got a lot of guys that come in and can make stuff happen. So for me as a quarterback, it’s my job to find that guy in the right situation,” Mahomes further said.
