The Arizona Cardinals lost their third straight game this week, sabotaging their hopes for the playoffs. And head coach Kliff Kingsbury is in deep distress to even mention their state of adversity at such a pivotal moment in the season. The unsatisfactory look on his face expresses it all, let alone his interview.
During their Week 16 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts, the Kingsbury side was handed their fifth loss of the season. It is a sign of great concern for the franchise. Since, at one point this season, the Cardinals were unbeatable with a 7-0 record.

During the post-game press conference when Kliff was asked about his approach to getting his team “back on track.” The head coach replied, “I don’t think anybody’s looking at that, we’re looking at ourselves, looking in the mirror and trying to figure out what we have to do. Because right now, it’s not good enough to be the team we know we can be.”
It is a hard-to-digest situation for the Cardinals. Before dropping down to a 10-5 record, they dominated the league single-handedly. The 16-22 upset has made the Cardinals introspect their abilities. They need to make improvements since it is such a pivotal moment of the season.

The Cardinals are seemingly not playing like themselves since they committed to a total of 11 penalties for 85 yards throughout the game. Furthermore, Kicker Matt Prater missed two field goals and an extra point. Which, in the end, could have got them a one-point lead to the Colts.
