The Eagles cornerback, Darius Slay, has been gunning for the reputed quarterbacks of the league. He has already intercepted players like Tom Brady and Drew Brees. On the eve of their game against the Green Bay Packers, Slay is ready for Aaron Rodgers. He commented on his intentions with respect to playing against Rodgers and made them very clear. However, his comments drew the ire of a lot of fans.

Darius Slay has been performing well this season. He has put up pretty good numbers and has been a very key player in ensuring that the Eagles have had a solid defense. The cornerback has put up 24 solo tackles along with 5 assisted tackles and 3 interceptions. He has gained the attention of several analysts as well.

Analysts like Shannon Sharpe commended the cornerback on his talent on the field. He was impressed with the defensive plays that Slay would commit to. Subsequently, Sharpe went on to say, “Darius Slay, I’m gonna let him use the moniker Big Play Slay I will because the way he played last night” and spoke about the game and Slay’s impeccable performance. However, with a tough opponent in Philly, it remains to be seen how Aaron Rodgers will perform and if he will get intercepted.
