The Green Bay Packers have trouble at the quarterback position. By not turning up for OTAs or mandatory minicamp, franchise QB Aaron Rodgers has made his intentions clear. He isn’t looking forward to returning to Lambeau Field anytime soon.
While the franchise looks to sort out the mess it has created, they are actively looking at contingency plans if Rodgers decides to call time on his stint with the Packers.
Drafting QB Jordan Love with their first-round pick back in 2020, the side had already picked its heir to Rodgers’ throne. While the circumstances aren’t quite how they imagined it to be, Love might have to fill in for Rodgers prematurely.

Asked whether he’d be ready to take on the challenge of being the starter come Week 1, Love said he had no doubt about it.
“A hundred percent,” Love said while talking to the media. “Obviously, this is a time where I’m getting a lot of extremely valuable reps that I might not have been getting in a normal circumstance. So I’m just going to take it day by day,” the young QB added.
Exuding confidence, Love said that he knew just what he was drafted to do and now he’s ready to deliver.
