Julio Jones’ hamstring injury
The wide receiver hurt his hamstring during practice back in November. The Tennessee Titans put him on the injury reserves, and he has missed three games since then. This is Jones’ first season with the Titans, and he has only played six games. In those six games, Jones has made 21 receptions for 336 yards. His average is 16.0 yards per reception. The wide receiver is yet to reach the end zone and make a touchdown this season.

His record has a chance to improve. The Titans have activated Jones, and he has been cleared to participate in the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Originally, the WR was dealing with the hamstring issue since week 3. Before tweaking it again in practice last month. He missed two games back then as well. The veteran’s first year with the Titans hasn’t been pleasant yet.

But as soon as the Titans cleared Jones, he went straight to practice with the quarterback Ryan Tannehill. “It has been a little while since we threw/caught together,” said Tannehill. “These practice reps will be huge. We got some practice reps on Monday, which was nice. Excited to see him back out here making plays and looking good running.” Julio Jones has been able to achieve his full speed back, and he is looking to make some damage against the Jaguars.

Without Julio Jones, the Titans have lost their last two games. They lost 22-13 to the Houston Texans. The most painful was their 13-36 loss against the New England Patriots. Currently, they sit on the top of the AFC South table with a record of 8-4. The Jaguars are at the bottom of the table with just two wins this season. Tennessee is the favorite to win the week 14 affair. With the help of the veteran receiver on Sunday, the Titans might extend their lead and take over the entire AFC playoff picture.
