Tom Brady arrived in Florida with one goal on his mind – to end his career on a high. The New England Patriots legend ended his 20-year stay with Bill Belichick’s team in favor of a new challenge in Florida. The three-time NFL MVP award winner signed a two-year deal with Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which is valued somewhere around $60 million in bonus clauses.
Brady won six Lombardis while playing for the Pats and will hope to add at least win one more trophy to that tally in the next two years. Brady was the missing piece of the puzzle at Tampa Bay. He seems to be the perfect man to lead a young Buccaneers O-line which includes the likes of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, OJ Howard and others. The addition of Rob Gronkowski will also serve as an added bonus for Bruce Arians’ team.
Here’s what the Tampa Bay head coach had to say about his new star – Tom Brady.

“Yeah, he’s probably the least of my worries right now. “He’s where he needs to be. We need to get more live reps. Blocking, tackling. This game’s a blocking and tackling game. Fourteen days to block and tackle. Is that enough? And I hate tackling ourselves. We don’t want to road-block ourselves, but we’ve got to get ready to play a game. I think that’s the biggest disadvantage — not being in pads and not playing fast,” as via ESPN.

“Just playing fast. He knows what he’s doing. But now the speed is going to pick up for the first time for him. Seeing how he processes the information that he thinks he knows and we’ll find out what he does know and doesn’t know at a much higher pace, and we haven’t gone against our defense and we’re very complicated defensively, so it’ll be a lot of fun for him.”
