Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford during his press conference on Thursday poked fun at Aaron Rodgers for publicly discussing his injury. The injury to Stafford’s toe came under the spotlight during the game against the San Francisco 49ers. LA Rams coach Sean McVay was quick to alter his play calling in the light of him discovering this injury.
Despite being struggling and having low mobility as the game wore on, Stafford didn’t make any mistakes. The Rams QB enters the Wild Card Round as one of the top QBs under immense pressure to deliver the goods. He does mention the Aaron Rodgers toe injury while talking about his own injury stating, “I’d show it to you, but I don’t want to do that. That’s for other guys to do. I’ll keep my toes to myself.”

Many NFL fans see the playoffs as the testing ground where quarterbacks either thrive or just crumble. Many legendary QBs see this as Stafford’s opportunity to change the negative perception surrounding him. A flawless postseason should be the aim of the Rams with the top-tier quality in the roster. Receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Cooper Kupp are well known for their abilities and Stafford needs to pick them out.
His TD to INT ratio is really something that will be of major concern for the Rams. Stafford was second with 41 TDs behind the legendary Buccaneers QB Tom Brady with 43 TDs. He also unfortunately was the joint-worst with Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence in the league for throwing interceptions this season with 17. He is fantastic, even flawless when doesn’t throw a single interception going 6-0 this season.
