It is no secret that relationships are tough and especially one that is in the limelight. However, there are some brilliant examples in the NFL of stellar couples who’ve been together through thick and thin. One such example is the king and queen of Kansas City, Brittany, and Patrick Mahomes. However, the Super Bowl-winning champion is not the only one who is a brilliant example. One of the defensive players who was battling it out against him in the first Super Bowl Mahomes won also has a picture-perfect marriage. The player’s name is Fred Warner.

Warner is the linebacker of the San Francisco 49ers. He was one of the main competitors during the Super Bowl LIV, making crucial 5 tackles and 2 assisted tackles. However, the team was inadvertently handed a sad loss before they were able to claim their title. However, it was not all bad news for Warner. His loss on the field was balanced out by gaining a partner for life off the field.

While he did suffer a loss in the finals, Warner was able to find happiness off the field. Interestingly, about 2 weeks after losing, he was able to get in touch with the woman who would become his wife. And now, after they’ve been happily married for more than a year, his wife, Sydney Warner took to her Instagram Story to talk about her wonderful marriage. While doing a Q and A on her Instagram story, Sydney was asked by her fans for her best marriage advice She had an interesting reply with context to her linebacker husband.

She said, “Thus far I’d say it’s kinda simple. People often make marriage feel so daunting & scary. But for us personally, I think kindness and patience is the answer to it all. Knowing your partner, putting each other first before anything else, respect, patience, and kindness. Those have been my anchors!” Sydney made it very clear that her connection with the linebacker is stronger than ever. Interestingly, the linebacker’s love story with his wife began in a very interesting manner.

The Sydney-Fred love story
The linebacker and his wife have quite a cute story. While Warner was playing in the Super Bowl, Sydney was a glowing candidate on The Bachelor. Interestingly, just as Warner lost the Super Bowl, Sydney was eliminated from her position on the Bachelor. However, as fate would have it, her elimination led to her meeting her husband. About two weeks after her elimination, Sydney received a DM on her Instagram from the linebacker and since then they haven’t looked back. After dating for less than a year, the two were engaged and ended up getting married and have been happily wedded ever since.
