Former NFL franchise Baltimore Ravens quarterback Robert Griffin III might have given this potential NBA star all the encouragement he would ever need. Despite having a relatively brief career in the NFL, it seemed Griffin could influence the Milwaukee Bucks’ recent draft acquisition. The newest G-League star to make his way to the NBA is guard MarJon Beauchamp, who showed some love back to the former Ravens QB.

After getting drafted by the 2021 NBA champions with the 24th overall pick, Beauchamp took to Twitter to show his appreciation to RG3. While tagging RG3’s reaction over his selection in the draft, Beauchamp tweets, “Man… I met @RGIII day before the draft… he showed nun but love! When I was 12… I had his rookie jersey… I really feel.. things happen for a reason…thank you, man.”

The interaction seems to have been of profound significance to the young promising athlete looking to make his mark in the NBA.

While Beauchamp will look to grab his opportunity with both hands, RG3 has been making his progress as a college football analyst. However, according to some reports, he continues to harbor hopes of making an NFL comeback eventually. While it has been a couple of years since RG3 took the field, some NFL franchises reportedly have held talks with him.

Is an NFL comeback potentially on the cards for RG3?

The chances of Griffin making a comeback to the NFL appear unlikely because of the high number of young talent available for one of the most coveted positions. His recent record also seems to work against the former Commanders QB, who made 4 appearances with a solitary start in 2020. He only recorded 42 passing yards while completing 57 percent of his passes for 0 TDs and 2 INTs.
