NFL Legend Breaks Down After Tom Brady Retirement Announcement: ‘Hell Yeah I’m Sad. I Didn’t Want The Man to Go Out Like This’

Former NFL TE Shannon Sharpe felt sad about QB Tom Brady after he announced his retirement. Sharpe understood why Brady stepped away after almost 22 years from the game. He states Brady will retire because of the intense commitment the game requires off its players every season.

Sharpe also feels that the game has a mental, physical, and emotional toll on those playing it. Being a former player, Sharpe does sympathize with Brady stating, “Hell yeah I’m sad. I didn’t want the man to go out like this. But I’m happy for him.” He does state his hidden wish of Brady’s wife Gisele forcing him to play another season to get a proper send-off.
