Aaron Rodgers might be back in green

Yes, that’s right, Rodgers might just come back to the field in green and white. However, this time it might not be in a Packers uniform. The veteran quarterback was reportedly in talks with the owner of the New York Jets, Woody Johnson. This came to light after Green Bay established that Rodgers will be allowed a sit-down meeting with the Jets organization. The Jets owner and head coach went on to meet Rodgers in California.

After the meeting, Johnson had simple but cryptic words regarding any future dealings between the Jets and Rodgers. He simply said, “We’ll find out,” via the New York Post. For now, it seems like Johnson is not very keen on sharing further details about the interaction.

The meeting, interestingly, has happened just a little while after Rodgers’ darkness retreat. Reportedly, the quarterback had taken the retreat to make a concrete decision about his career. After his retreat, Rodgers had spoken about the outcomes on a podcast with Aubrey Marcus.

Did Rodgers ultimately have a successful ‘Darkness Retreat’?

It seems like Rodgers definitely had a successful retreat. After his retreat, he stated that he had two clear options in his head. The first and scary one was that he would step away from the game and retire. The second option is that he would step away from the Green Bay Packers and pick another landing spot. However, after his meeting with the Jets, it seems the second option might be something he is putting into effect. In terms of making choices, Rodgers’ retreat seemed to have worked perfectly for him.
