Belichick appeared in a podcast named The Greg Hill Show and talked about how Jackson excelled in his movements through time. “Well, very good offense. He is a dynamic player. He’s got a lot of speed and he can turn short plays into long ones, along with his speed. Well, he’s athletic and has a strong arm.” Belichick said when asked how difficult it is to defend a guy like Lamar Jackson. “All that….the entire offense is well balanced and the quarterbacks have, you know… that extra guy that normally you don’t have to account for, but you certainly have to account for him and that they did a good job of finding ways to strengthen his class and then it always comes down to tackling with him too. So that’s leverage and tackling are also a big part of that.”
