Peyton Manning Reveals Who He’s Picked to Present Him During His NFL Hall of Fame Enshrinement

Peyton Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks to have ever played in the NFL. With an astounding seven All-Pro call ups, five MVP awards and two Super Bowl wins to his name, Peyton Manning personifies what it means to be a Hall of Fame-caliber QB.
Retiring in 2016 after guiding the Denver Broncos to Super Bowl 50, Manning’s legacy will now be immortalized at Canton, Ohio forever as he officially gets inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

A first-ballot Hall of Famer, Manning will be at Canton on August 8 during the enshrinement ceremony which will also induct other NFL legends such as Calvin Johnson, Tom Flores, John Lynch, Drew Pearson and Alan Faneca to name a few.
Receiving the highest accolade of the sport is something that the Broncos legend truly deserves. And to celebrate the momentous occasion Peyton Manning has said that he will be accompanied by family.
And a certain family member is also the person Manning’s picked to present him as he gets enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Broncos legend Peyton Manning wants father Archie to do the honors
Archie Manning is the reason why brothers Eli and Peyton Manning took up football in the first place. Archie was a quarterback himself back in the day and spent 15 seasons in the NFL.

And given his influence on Peyton’s footballing career, the former Denver Broncos QB said it was a no-brainer to pick his father to do the honors.

“He certainly had the greatest impact on my football life out of anybody,” Manning said. “Growing up around the game, I was eight years old when he retired. He’d always bring (oldest brother) Cooper and me to Saturday morning practices. So we used to get to go down on the field at the Superdome after games.”
Peyton Manning said that his father Archie had only ever missed two or three games of his game throughout his playing career. “Having my dad there in general, as a part of this and riding in the parade, that’s very special to me,” said Manning.

Having his friends and family beside him during his enshrinement is something that Peyton is really looking forward to. And he might have to travel to Canton again in a couple of years when his younger brother and two-time Super Bowl winner Eli Manning too becomes eligible to make it into the Hall of Fame.
