As per reports, Peters will fill in as guard for the Eagles this year. That implies that NFL 2020 first-round draft pick Andre Dillard is the starting left tackle this season.
Jason’s one-year deal is reportedly valued at $6 million, with $3 million in guarantees. The nine-time Pro Bowler will add some much-needed experience to the Eagles’ backline heading into the 2020 season.
Peters is tipped to be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in the future. He has never played as a guard in the league before. However, his vast experience and football expertise should help him make a smooth transition to his new role.
