The action on the field during the Super Bowl this year is heating. After a quick start to the third quarter, the Cincinnati Bengals are in the lead. But as we have seen all throughout the season, you can never count the Rams out. They are trying hard for a comeback and to win the big one. If the Rams win tonight, we could see Aaron Donald announce his retirement.
The Los Angeles Rams are aiming for their second franchise Super Bowl win. And the defensive tackle has stated that he would retire if they win the trophy.

Aaron Donald plays his second Super Bowl tonight
Aaron Donald has been the heart and soul of the Rams defense. The DT started his professional career in LA. He was the 13th overall pick in the 2014 draft by the Rams. Ever since he stepped foot on the field, Donald has been fierce.
In his rookie season, the DT got a Pro Bowl selection and won the Defensive Rookie of the Year award. He racked up 13 QB hits along with 9 sacks and 18 tackles.

Donald has never looked back ever since. He has won the DPOY twice in a row in 2017 and 2018.The 2018 season was the one to remember the DT for. He sacked the quarterbacks 20.5 times. Donald also racked up 41 quarterback hits and 25 tackles for loss. No wonder he won the Defensive Player of the Year again that season.

Rodney Harrison reveals that tonight could be Donald’s last game
The Rams have made it to the Super Bowl for the second time in three years. It is Aaron Donald’s second attempt at the trophy after a dominating defeat to the Buccaneers in 2019.

Former NFL player Rodney Harrison has spoken to Donald recently. “He’s big on legacy,” Harrison said. “He doesn’t want to be known as a defender that accomplished so many individual things and never won a Super Bowl. But he also told me this: If he wins a Super Bowl, there’s a strong possibility he could walk away from the game and retire.”
