During his game against Los Angeles Rams, Russell Wilson sustained a gruesome fracture in his right hand middle finger. It was easy to assume that he might spend the whole regular season recovering from it.
Although doctors believed Wilson might return to the gridiron after at least six weeks, giving the Seahawks fans a sigh of relief. However, according to the recent injury update regarding the QBs finger, sources say that Wilson might recover from his injury within just four weeks.

Russell Wilson to return early
Wilson, while hurling the ball in the third quarter of the game, suffered a collision leading him to the injury. Later in an injury report by Dr. Steven Shin, the quarterback had sustained two injuries to the finger: an extensor tendon rupture (mallet finger) and a comminuted fracture-dislocation of the proximal interphalangeal joint.

Apparently, by the time surgery ended on Wilson’s fractured right middle finger, the doctors had a realistic belief that the Seattle Seahawks star quarterback might make it back in just four weeks, according to sources. “That’s now the hope and, depending on some other factors, that’s possible,” the source told ESPN.
