But upon further reflection, Winston thinks that he is perfectly suited for the role. For Winston, he thinks a game manager role will allow him to showcase not only his skills but his decision-making ability.
“I never wanted to be deemed a game manager… But really, that game manager is not a bad piece. That’s something that I think just comes with being a professional quarterback.
“Being able to not just only do the things that you can do, but being able to do the things that you should not do — like what not to do versus what can I do.”

Winston has a tough battle ahead of him going forward. While he has shown in the past that he is a good thrower of the ball, he is very error prone.
Winston remains the only quarterback in NFL history to have thrown 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in the same season. Whereas, Taysom Hill has had more recent experience as the starting quarterback in the Saints’ system.
