The Antonio Brown-Tampa Bay saga has hit new lows after the former player teed off on his QB Tom Brady. Brown appeared on the Full Send Podcast, where he let loose on Tom Brady and his fans. Brown was visibly annoyed about the number of great things people praised Brady about while not even considering his abilities.
On Friday, Brown almost accuses Brady of being friends with him for footballing reasons. He states, “Tom Brady’s my friend. Why? Because I’m a good football player.” He continues by saying that Brady ‘needs’ him and that their friendship is only for Brady’s benefit.

Antonio Brown going rogue?
The podcast episode raises some points which are right to think about while some just are ridiculous. After his debacle-filled career was on the ropes, it was Brady who gave Brown a chance with the Patriots. Following him leaving New England, Brady even suggested the Buccaneers sign him as a potential player. So, Brown should be respectful towards Brady, who was crucial in reviving his struggling career.

Whatever his problems are with the Buccaneers organization, Brown shouldn’t have let loose on Brady. Brady, despite Brown’s outburst on the field against the Jets, was one of the biggest supporters that Brown ever had. The recent comments by Brady signal his intent to protect AB from media and turn their focus to the performance on the field. Despite his unbelievable talent, AB should have shown restraint against someone who isn’t the reason for his problems currently.
