Bruce Arians and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers secured their playoff position by absolutely trouncing the Detroit Lions. Led by an amazing Tom Brady performance, the Buccaneers won the game by a resounding 47-7 scoreline.
For the Buccaneers, it is one of those performances that could give them momentum to perform well in the Playoffs.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Head Coach Bruce Arians spoke to the press after the game against the Detroit Lions. Arians is still optimistic about the Buccaneers’ chances in the Playoffs and thinks that they can even reach the Super Bowl.

In fact, he pointed to his Super Bowl win in 2009 as the Pittsburgh Steelers’ offensive coordinator to show why the Buccaneers have a chance.
He said, “Anything can happen. I’ve been a 6 seed, gone all the way to the Super Bowl, and won it right here in this stadium, so anything is possible. Now that we’re in the dance, we’ve got to see what next week brings and where we’re going.”
Bruce Arians optimistic for the Buccaneers
For Arians, his season with the Buccaneers has been good, but it has been marred with some controversy as well. The major talking point this year has been the strained relationship between Bruce Arians and Tom Brady.
Arians has been candid on several occasions about his demands from Tom Brady. Tom Brady did not play in the way Arians wanted in the past. And Arians made his frustrations with Brady very clear.
