Buccaneers’ Rob Gronkowski Shares the Secret to his Playoff Success

Buccaneers‘ Gronk spoke to the press ahead of their playoff tie with the Washington Football Team. When asked about his success in the Playoffs, Gronkowski admitted that success in the Playoffs is predicated on focus. No team can focus on their success in the regular season when trying to achieve success in the postseason.
He said, “It’s a whole different season. Literally, nothing matters what we did in the regular season. All 16 of those games are like they didn’t exist.
“Yes, they got us to this point, but now we’re at this point those games don’t matter at all. It’s another level of play. You’ve got to dot the I’s and cross the T’s when preparing for playoff games.”

Gronkowski added that the teams must do all that is possible in order to attain playoff success. While they must not rest on their regular season laurels, they can use the momentum from the regular season in order to further gain momentum. Gronkowski believes that repetitions are crucial in any team’s playoff run and subsequent success.

“And you’ve got to make sure that you’re just on top of everything from your rounds to blitz to the run game, and I would say just carrying it over from the regular season also.
