Matt Ryan-led Atlanta Falcons put in a strong display against the Carolina Panthers on Monday night. The home team made their way to a 17-25 win on the back of a stellar performance from star wide receiver Julio Jones.
Jones registered 137 yards on seven receptions as the Panthers won their second game of the season. As we approach trade deadline day, Jones is one of the players who could leave the Falcons on a trade deal.
The Alabama-born athlete has been with the Falcons since 2011. He has been voted to the Pro Bowl on seven occasions. Jones is already considered to be a Falcons great. But will Atlanta GM Thomas Dimitroff sanction a deal for his prized asset, or will Jones retire with the Falcons?

The atmosphere was energetic in Atlanta at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium last night. One of the standout performers from Monday was seasoned wide receiver, Julio Jones. Here’s what the 31-year-old star said about rumors linking him with a trade move away from the Falcons before deadline day in November.
He said, “Last week was my first time actually hearing it. But for me, like I said, people gonna talk, people gonna say whatever they wanna say…I’m not gonna allow somebody else to say something that will have an effect on the way I handle the game or the way I handle myself, you know?”
