Last year, the New England Patriots drafted quarterback Mac Jones from Alabama. Getting drafted as a quarterback by the Patriots is bound to bring a lot of excitement. Mainly due to the legacy left behind by the great Tom Brady.
Cam Newton couldn’t prove that he was the right man to lead New England. Fortunately, Mac Jones was able to. After an impressive rookie season, the quarterback is on the path to being better this year. Jones’ head coach, Bill Belichick, was impressed by his work ethic during the offseason.

Bill Belichick, who is quite often hard to please, is left very impressed by the improvement in the game of Mac Jones. Talking about it, Belichick said, “I think Mac’s done a great job. He’s worked extremely hard. He’s got a tremendous work ethic in all areas. I think there’s a dramatic improvement,”

Mac Jones was able to take this Patriots team to the playoffs last season. Not many saw it coming, but the quarterback from Alabama proved his worth in the NFL through an impressive outing in his rookie season.

The New England Patriots were able to reach the playoffs last season. They went under the radar but were still able to reach a respectable target last season with a new quarterback. However, the story might be different this time around.
Their division has gotten a lot stronger than last season. The Miami Dolphins are expected to finish with a better record than the Patriots, who could finish behind the Buffalo Bills in the AFC East.
