The Dallas Cowboys drafted Deuce Vaughn in the sixth round. What was special about this draft pick was that Vaughn’s father himself works in the scouting department of the Cowboys. As the Cowboys drafted him, they called him up and informed the running back about the good news. They also gave his father the opportunity to speak to him and emotions were running high.

Furthermore, even Jones spoke to the young running back and informed him of the news. Jones had some emotional words for the running back and said, “There’s just something magical about this moment that may be bigger than we even realize here, talking to you on the phone. But you is now a Dallas Cowboy. Your dad just handed the card in.”
