The situation surrounding Deshaun Watson in Houston does not look good for his current employers. David Culley’s Houston Texans are undergoing major managerial and structural changes within the organization. Their latest dilemma is the immediate future surrounding star quarterback Deshaun Watson.
The former Clemson Tigers man signed a four-year contract extension worth $177.5 million last year. The deal included $111 million in guarantees. He is under contract with the Texans through the 2025 season. However, after a disappointing season with the Texans in 2020, Watson is reportedly ready to move to greener pastures.
While Texans fans will dreading this development, a certain AFC South superstar is more than happy to see Watson depart.

Just the type of the player he is, one of the best players in the league. He’s the one that gets them going, and it’s been that way since playing in college; we actually played for the national championship and it was a tough game then.”
