Not many fans or critics expected much from Tom Brady last season. The ageing quarterback ended his 20-year association with Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots in search of a new challenge. Brady signed a 2-year deal with NFC South franchise Tampa Bay Buccaneers and agreed to play under the guidance of HC Bruce Arians.
Brady, who arrived in the NFL in 2000, was determined to prove his doubters wrong in 2020. He did exactly that, and more, as the veteran quarterback led the Buccaneers to the Super Bowl LV title. The Pirates defeated defending champions and favourites, Kansas City Chiefs, by a comprehensive 9-31 scoreline at the Raymond James Stadium in Florida.
