In spite of the return of NFL star Tom Brady, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers struggled all through the current NFL season. Ever since TE Rob Gronkowski’s retirement, the Bucs have resembled a meaningless puzzle with its most important piece missing. Brady is currently going through the worst phase of his career. It is evident from his performances that he is badly in need of his counterbalance, Gronk.

Star wide receiver Mike Evans recently echoed the team’s voice while informing that he badly misses Gronk. He went even further, claiming Gronk as one of the best tight ends ever. According to Evans, the only thing that can get the team back on track, out of the current crisis, is the veteran’s unretirement. Though, denying all speculations of Gronk’s return, he has revealed that there is hardly any chance of any such thing happening.

Rob Gronkowski is an icon of the NFL circuit. The four-time All-Pro tight end and four-time Super Bowl champion announced his retirement for the second time after the 2021 NFL season. After briefly quitting in 2019, Gronks came back in 2020. Teaming up with Tom Brady for the Buccaneers, he ended up winning yet another Super Bowl title. The Brady-Gronk duo had previously won 3 Super Bowls with the Patriots.

After Brady came back from his supposed retirement, there were speculations of Gronk returning. Gronk, himself, was eager to have another go this season, and also took his time before announcing something. But the legend failed to keep up with the physical demands of playing at the tight end. Currently, the star’s return seems impossible as signed a deal to appear on FOX throughout the 2022 NFL campaign.
