Brian Flores-coached Miami Dolphins are 2nd in the AFC East division behind Buffalo Bills. They have just one win to their name and are currently working towards securing a spot in the playoffs. However, they’re already configuring their roster in the build-up to Week 5.
The Dolphins are 1-3 after losing to Indianapolis Colts by a 27-17 scoreline on the weekend. The franchise is finding it difficult to cope with the absence of quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa.
But as per the latest reports, the Dolphins are ready to free up some cap space by allowing the departure of wide receiver Jakeem Grant.

The Dolphins will trade Grant to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a future 2023 6th-round pick. Since joining the Dolphins in 2016, Grant has been their primary returner. He remains one of the NFL’s best special teams players with five return touchdowns in his career.

Grant ranks 11th among active players in non-offensive touchdowns. In addition to that, he was voted a second-team All-Pro last season, a year after signing a four-year, $19.7 million extension in 2019.
He will move to the Bears on an immediate basis as coach Matt Nagy looks to strengthen his roster as we approach the midway stage of the season. The Chicago-based franchise is 2nd in the NFC North with two wins and two losses after four games.
