Tom Brady arrived in the NFL as arguably the biggest reject at the 2000 NFL draft. Quite literally, Brady was the 199th overall pick that year by Bill Belichick-coached New England Patriots.
The Robert Kraft-owned franchise chose Tom as the 6th and the last quarterback from that year’s draft ceremony. The rest, as they say, is history.
In his two-decade-long association with the franchise, Brady went on to win 6 Super Bowl rings. Under the guidance of coach Belichick, the California-born quarterback went on to cement his status as arguably the greatest football player of all time.

He broke quite a few hearts when he decided to leave Boston in favor of Florida. But one year later, those same fans rejoiced, as Tom Brady led Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Super Bowl LV title.

“I think his emotions or feelings never evolved with age. I think in time, with Tom, as Tom got into his late 30s or early 40s, I think Bill was still trying to treat him like that 20-year-old kid that he drafted. And all the players, I think, realized Tom was different,” Guerrero told the Boston Herald reporter Karen Guregian.
While Brady and Belichick have maintained a respectful relationship following the former’s exit from Massachusetts, rumors of inner turmoil continue to pop up now and then.
