The 2023 NFL Combine truly saw some brilliant talent from the prospective draft picks. The athletes, who declared themselves for the draft were exceptional in their display of talents. There was an athlete who was able to break the highest vertical ever set by a quarterback. There were also some feats of strength by the prospective players of the next season. Furthermore, there were some inspiring moments from players who overcame some huge barriers. One of them was by OL Andrew Vorhees.

The offensive lineman suffered an injury that has been career-ending for a lot of other players during the Combine. However, even after being injured he was able to perform a feat of strength that was off the charts. The feat was so impressive that it garnered a lot of supportive comments from fans.

The herculean feat of strength at the NFL Combine

Vorhees is an offensive lineman from USC (University of South Carolina). He was touted to be a first-round pick with his excellent skills as a part of the O-line. However, while doing some Combine drills on Sunday, disaster struck. As per NFL Insider Dov Kleiman, the OL suffered a torn ACL while doing drills for the Combine.

However, even after suffering such a grave injury, Vorhees went on to continue doing drills at the Combine. The O-lineman wanted to pursue the bench press drill. He was even successful in pulling off 38 reps and setting a Combine high. Despite being gravely injured, Vorhees showcased some exemplary spirit.

One fan mentioned how the youngster was a warrior and made a prediction of the youngster going to the Minnesota Vikings.

Some fans felt like the injury might have negative effects on the youngster’s chances.

However, there were fans who truly believed in the young man’s chances.

There were also comments about how tough the OL is.

Finally, fans exclaimed their true feelings about the feat Vorhees pulled off.

The fans showcased a positive attitude towards his display of strength from Vorhees even after being injured. There was a surprising amount of unity among the fans for the support they showcased for Vorhees.

With the toughness he showcased, fans have been very kind to Vorhees’ draft prospects. However, only the night of the NFL Draft will be able to determine if Vorhees’ standing is affected by his ACL injury.
