Weather reports predicted that the football field might be graced by rain. These showers are what deepened the struggles of both Joe Burrow and Deshaun Watson. According to a report by the Cincinnati Enquirer, the wet weather proved increasingly adverse for Joe Burrow, who did not start with a glove on his throwing hand. His bare fingers coupled with a slippery ball did not bode well for the Bengals. From the first to the third quarter, the highest-paid NFL player switched from gloves to no gloves multiple times during the match. He was not the only one who was battling the rain.

Both the millionaire quarterbacks were struggling on the field, however, one seemed to perform better than the other. The Cincinnati Bengals came with a clear goal in their minds today, to win their first game against the Cleveland Browns, a feat they have not achieved since the year 2017. Till halftime, the score was 10-0 in favor of the Browns, and it was clear the Bengals were not fairing so well. Things took a rather rough turn for the Bengals in the fourth quarter as the Browns crushed Burrow’s squad in a 24-3 victory. As for Burrow, fans can only wait for a magical comeback.
