US President Joe Biden Pokes Fun at Tom Brady and Bruce Arians During Buccaneers’ White House Visit

Led by evergreen quarterback Tom Brady, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers claimed Super Bowl LV in emphatic fashion. Steamrolling the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9, the Bucs claimed their second-ever Super Bowl title, while Brady picked up a record seventh Super Bowl ring.
Winning it all in just his first season with the franchise, Tom Brady silenced his critics once again. And thanks to their Super Bowl exploits, the Buccaneers got landed themselves the opportunity to visit the White House.

Over the years, multiple champions have been invited to the White House by former US Presidents to celebrate their success. And this year was no different for the defending NFL champions.
Tom Brady finally makes White House visit
Whether or not Tom Brady would be attending the event was a bit of a mystery. After all, the quarterback has given White House invitations a miss in the past.

In 2019 as well, Tom Brady decided not to attend the event hosted by former President Donald Trump after the Patriots defeated the LA Rams. But much to everyone’s surprise, Tom Brady did attend the event after all.
By winning Super Bowl LV, Brady and Bucs Head Coach Bruce Arians set a unique record. While Brady became the oldest QB to ever win the title, Arians became the oldest head coach to win it. And President Joe Biden couldn’t help but poke a bit of fun at the duo.

Being the oldest President in United States history, Biden said there’s nothing wrong in being the oldest duo to with the title.
“You know a lot has been made about the fact that we have the oldest coach and oldest quarterback to ever win the Super Bowl… You won’t hear any jokes about that from me. As far as I’m concerned, there’s nothing wrong with being the oldest guy to make it,” Biden said tongue in cheek.
