There have been plenty of negative reactions from the fans and experts after the Bucs’ recent loss against the Browns last Sunday. Even Tom Brady is not getting away from criticisms. Recently, the Bucs’ head coach, Todd Bowles, appeared on the Buccaneers Radio Network and talked about the leaders of his team to turn things around in the next game against the Saints.

Notably, Brady is undoubtedly one of the leaders inside the locker room as well as on the field. Apart from Brady, 29-year-old Mike Evans is also one of the leaders on the team. However, all the focus will be on Brady and how he leads.

Todd Bowles talks about the leaders, including Tom Brady to step up their game

While talking to the Buccaneers Radio Network, Bowles talked about the importance of players. It’s a players team… Every team that has winners that wins is a players team,” the Bucs’ head coach said.

Then, he talked about the roles the leaders of the team have to play to improve the entire team’s performance. The leaders lead and everybody else follows. So it’s time for our leaders to lead and step up. And everybody else has to follow, and make plays. Not just lead but make plays. And show them by example, show them by being vocal, show them by how they practice,” Bowles said.

After the first eight games, the Bucs were having a nightmare season, as they had a 3-5 win-loss record. However, they turned it around in the second half of the season by winning 2 back-to-back games.

They almost won their third game in a row against the Browns, but they bottled it in the end. Now, they have a very important game coming up against the Saints, which is a must-win game for them.

On the other hand, they could still top the NFC South division, as all the other teams, including the Falcons, the Panthers, and the Saints, have poor records. Even if the Bucs qualify for the playoffs, it will be a tough challenge for them to reach far with their current form.
