It was no secret that the Urban Meyer-coached Jacksonville Jaguars were interested in the highly-rated college quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
The Clemson Tigers superstar impressed during his 3-year college career in the ACC. He led Clemson to the CFP National Championship in 2018 as a true freshman.
Trevor finished his college football career with 10,000+ passing yards and 90+ passing TDs. Along with Zach Wilson (BYU Cougars), Trey Lance (NDSU), and Justin Fields (Ohio State Buckeyes), Lawrence was regarded as a 1st-round prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft.

“But I just think that that’s a successful life for me. But as far as the game goes, obviously, dream of winning the Super Bowl, that’s going to be probably my biggest goal my whole career, and then hopefully can do that a few times.
“So you just don’t know how things are gonna work out. So obviously going to a new city, you got to figure all that out. But just excited to give all I have to a new city and start my family wherever,” Lawrence said in the interview.
