Baltimore Ravens star Earl Thomas had a close shave at the hands of his wife. After an altercation, Nina Thomas held a loaded gun close to his head and threatened him. As it turned out, she allegedly caught him cheating on her with another woman.

TMZ Sports got hold of court documents detailing a violent incident on April 13. This allegedly involved the Ravens player, wife Nina, and several other people.

According to the Austin Police Department, they responded to a call at approximately 3:41 AM reporting a disturbance. When they arrived, they “observed that a black female wearing an orange sweater with a knife in her hand, later identified as Nina Thomas, was chasing a shirtless black male, later identified as Earl Thomas, with a pistol in her hand around a vehicle.”

Once on the scene, the police drew their weapons and ordered the two to the ground. Fortunately, they complied without any protest, but that was only the tip of the iceberg.

What really happened between Earl Thomas and Nina Thomas?

According to Nina’s testimony, the 30-year old Earl left their home earlier in the day. At that time, they had an argument over the NFL player’s drinking problem. Soon afterwards, Earl’s brother, Seth Thomas, picked him up.

The Snapchat account tracked his location to a nearby Airbnb rental home. Nina also claimed that she grabbed Earl’s pistol, a 9mm Berreta. According to her, the intention was merely to “scare him” and not cause him any harm. When she and two friends arrived at the house, they “discovered Earl and Seth naked in bed with other women.”

In a fit of rage, she pulled out the gun and pointed it to Earl’s head. She also claimed that she took out the magazine thinking that the gun could not fire. However, cops noted that the gun had a round in the chamber, which she was unaware of.

Cellphone footage from one of Nina’s female friends showed her pointing the gun at Earl’s head. She appeared to the standing “less than a foot away and it can clearly be seen that Nina’s finger was on the trigger and the safety is disengaged.”

Fortunately, Earl managed to wrestle the gun away from her. After taking statements, the cops arrested Nina and both members of her group. Nina was booked for burglary of a residence with intent to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon — family violence, and later bonded out.
