Denver Broncos’ coaches took the NFL world by storm with the tale of their dedication. The team is currently going through a nightmare phase and that is when the coaches decide to go wild. Sleeping three weeks at a stretch in the facility is what Broncos offensive coordinator Justin Outten claimed recently in front of the media. But as if it wasn’t enough confusing, Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett completely denied what Outten said.

In fact, Hackett portrayed it as a regular joke that coaches often tend to crack. Though there are speculations about the truthfulness and necessity of either version. It can be Outten joking? Or is it Hackett dragging the joke further? A cover-up due to embarrassment of their recent performance despite desperate efforts has an equal chance to be a reason why Hackett denied the tale of their sleepovers.

In the loss to the Chargers, the Broncos stormed off promisingly, with Broncos QB Russell Wilson leading three scoring drives on Denver’s first four possessions. Rookie tight end Greg Dulcich also made an instant impact, catching two passes for 44 yards, including a 39-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter of his NFL debut. But that was it. Denver’s offense sputtered in the second half, with only one field goal as the game was deadlocked 16-16 going into overtime.

Denver ended up losing the match 19-16. As a result, the victorious Los Angeles Chargers improved to 4-2. The Broncos will face the confident New York Jets up next at home in Week 7  who are arriving after a terrific victory in their last match. Thus, despite their coaches’ efforts, it is likely that Denver will continue disappointing their fans.
