Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady had been the perfect fairy tale marriage for 13 years. After they had gotten married, they became one of the biggest power couples in the NFL. One is the Super Bowl-winning champion and the other was a supermodel for Victoria’s Secret. However, it all came crashing down when the couple broke up, and a marriage of 13 years ended in a flash.

Since then, Gisele has spoken about the kind of healing she has done after her divorce. Furthermore, Gisele also spilled some details that might speak to why her divorce actually happened. While speaking to Vanity Fair, the model spoke about the kind of effort she put into the relationship.

Why did the ‘It’ couple split?

After her divorce, Gisele spoke to Vanity Fair about the new dynamics she had to get used to in her life. The model was obviously heartbroken about the divorce. She mentioned how there were still some raw emotions after the split. Furthermore, Gisele also dropped a slight hint about why they broke up. In her interview, she said, “You give everything you got to achieve your dream. You give a hundred percent of yourself, and it’s heartbreaking when it doesn’t end up the way you hoped for, and worked for, but you can only do your part.”

It seemed like the model was hinting at the marriage falling apart due to a variety a reasons and not shifting the blame. It seems the marriage came to a natural end when they realized that they wanted different things. Furthermore, the model reiterated the kind of duties she herself fulfilled in the marriage.

Gisele’s contribution to her marriage

While fans might have speculated that Brady didn’t fulfill his role in the family, Gisele made her contributions very clear. The model mentioned the step back she took from her career. From being a full-time model, she had become a homemaker. Furthermore, she also mentioned the move from Boston to Tampa Bay and said, “When we moved to Tampa, I actually had never been there before. I just arrived and that was my life.” Gisele also spoke about how at the beginning of their relationship, she knew she was ready to start a family with him.
