Zay Flowers is one of the most talented wide receivers, known for his agility, speed, and ability to create separation from defenders on the gridiron. This 22-year-old served in college football at Boston College and was widely considered one of the top prospects of the 2023 NFL draft. With his selection as a wide receiver for Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the NFL draft, with the No 22 overall pick, Flowers got the opportunity to be a key piece in Ravens’ quest to win the upcoming season. Not only this, QB Lamar Jackson, who also signed a five-year extended deal with Ravens, will get much-awaited support from Flowers.

Although the Thursday trade was a day of success for the Ravens, Travis Kelce believes Flowers joining Kansas City Chiefs would have been auspicious for his team. He was reportedly seen thrilled on ESPN and expressed a desire to add Flowers to his squad since he thought the latter might pose a deep threat to the opposition team.

When asked about his take on Flowers joining Ravens, Kelce stated he would have been thrilled if Flowers joined him and his teammate QB Patrick Mahomes. “I could tell you just by watching him, he could help us out right now,” Kelce said. “He is an unbelievable route runner and you can really see his athleticism and his love for the game,” he further added. The 33-year-old also admitted that Flowers had enjoyed playing catch with Patrick Mahomes and other NFL quarterbacks, and he is a great person too!

With the two already leading one of the most dynamic offenses in NFL seasons, the addition of Flowers could have given them a weapon to use against the opposition and made the Chiefs even stronger. On one side, the Chiefs were down in the dumps, and on the other side, the Ravens were over the moon with joy having another exciting player on their side.
