But the scariest moment came in the first quarter when rookie left guard Chandler Zavala went down in pain after a nasty hit. It looked like he lost consciousness for a moment. Although it later became clear that he hadn’t, the reality seemed much worse.

Chandler was assisted to get on the cart and he laid down steadily as the cart moved towards the exit of the stadium. Zavala, however, put up a thumbs-up sign before he left the field, giving many in the stands a massive relief.
