Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s career has just started, and it has started off pretty quiet. During their Sunday game against the Panthers, the no. 11 jersey holder had only one reception on three targets. In the same video, Geno approaches Jaxon and tells him something so heart-touching that even had the whole of the NFL community in their feelings. He goes, “Hey, I need you. Need you in the second half. Need you locked in. Alright, look. Whatever happened is on me. It ain’t never on you. You gotta get the ball, so I gotta find you. Alright. But I need you to give me your best this second half.”
