The New York Giants’ heads are hanging low. After their humiliating loss against the Seattle Seahawks, the team is ashamed of their performance this season. The Seahawks fans were rejoicing as the team bagged yet another win, which is credited partially to the poor defense line of the Giants. People across the internet had numerous reactions to this. However, Peyton Manning had a particularly notable reaction to DK Metcalf’s touchdown and the Giants’ flaws.

The New York Giants lost to the Seattle Seahawks at a score of 24-3. Along with the team members, the fans present at MetLife Stadium on Monday Night seemed equally red-faced, facing second-hand embarrassment. Meanwhile, the ones who were not embarrassed were shocked.

Peyton Manning was shocked by the defense of the New York Giants

Peyton Manning and his sibling Eli Manning came forward, like several other experts in the world, to give their opinion on the shortcomings of the Giants on Monday. It is safe to say that the two were at a severe loss for words.

Peyton Manning was shocked to see the poor defense in the second quarter when Geno Smith threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to DK Metcalf just before halftime. “What. Just. Happened.” He said, “He ran down the sideline as if he was going for the halftime in the locker room.”

During the video, the two seemed dumbfounded by the Giants’ defensive end Mario Edwards Jr.’s performance. Along with the epic touchdown by Metcalf, the Seahawks got another touchdown from QB Geno Smith, with his total yardage being 110. The third touchdown is credited to running back Kenneth Walker III.

What did the New York Giants do wrong?

The list of the problems with the Giants has accumulated quite some issues with time. First things first, the offensive and the defensive liners have to be talked about. Starting off with the offensive line, the linemen were making poor decisions, including Daniel Jones. They are making slip-ups that are proving to be ugly for the Giants this season.

Secondly, their coach’s performance might have been a factor too. It is speculated that the head coach of the Giants, Brian Daboll, The Associated Press 2022 NFL Coach of the Year, has apparently forgotten how to coach. With everything going haywire with the team, it’s high time for Daboll to make modifications to the team.

The most glaring issues, however, were with the defensive line, which was evident in Monday’s game against the Seahawks. Will the Giants survive the season, or will they be humiliated in their next game as well? Let us know in the comments.
