The Matt LaFleur-coached Green Bay Packers were favorites to win the Super Bowl, heading into their NFC Championship tie with Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Aaron Rodgers was playing at an MVP level and WR Davante Adams finally hit his peak.
But their 2020 NFL campaign was brought to an abrupt halt, courtesy of Tom Brady and the Buccaneers defense.
The Packers were knocked out in a 26-31 upset. This was their 2nd successive loss in the NFC Championship game. It was Rodgers’ third.

He appeared visibly distraught, if I may, in the post-game presser as well. He even emotionally claimed that his future in Green Bay was uncertain.
But in classic Aaron Rodgers fashion, he played down that interview while appearing on The Pat McAfee Show last Tuesday. However, a certain former NBA player-turned-analyst is not ready to accept this so-called ‘facade’.
